Struggling with Drugs?

“Drugs are a waste of time. They destroy your memory and your self-respect and everything that goes along with your self esteem.”
― Kurt Cobain
“You can accept or reject the way you are treated by other people, but until you heal the wounds of your past, you will continue to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex, but eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories, and make peace with them”
― Iyanla Vanzant, Yesterday, I Cried

It's Never To Late To Change How You Are Living...

If you feel there isn't a way out, a way to change you are wrong.

People moderate, get sober, or abstain every day. There are so many resources to help you. More than there ever have been before!

You just have to try them. You may have to try numerous therapies before you find one that works. You may choose several and combine them.

You may find that in some of the Facebook groups of these different organizations that members talk badly or put down how other organizations work. (We have definitely seen this)

We feel that if you can find benefit in Smart Recovery, NA, Celebrate Recovery or other programs, or something resonates with you that helps you improve the quality of your life and controls addiction then you shouldn't discount that.

Try different methods, explore different groups and take the positives from them. Only you can decide what works for you and don't be swayed by other people's opinions just because that didn't work for them or they had a bad experience.
